Urinary WET

Complete and balanced dietary food for adult dogs, the administration of which is recommended to dissolve and prevent the
re-formation of struvite stones. The dietary food has the properties of acidifying urine (addition of DL-methionine, moderate
level of animal protein), favoring the formation of struvite unsaturated urine or metastabilizing in relation to struvite.

For:
– Dissolving struvite stones
– Reduction of struvite stone recurrence

BENEFITS
Full and balanced wet diet for dogsA tasty, full and balanced diet designed for dogs with lower urinary tract problems, used to reduce the formation of crystals and struvite stones. Feeding a wet diet promotes consumption and balancing the balance of water in the body in dogs that do not drink enough of it in the form of liquids. The right amount of protein of animal origin maintains the proper pH of urine.
Monoprotein diet One source of protein of animal origin (chicken) reduces the risk of allergies.
Gluten-free dietThe use of rice as a source of carbohydrates allows you to eliminate gluten from the diet.
Cranberry The antibacterial effect of cranberries consists in limiting the possibility of bacteria adhering to the surface of the mucous membrane, which reduces its colonization and the spread of inflammation.
DL-methionineDL-Methionine causes acidification of urine, which limits the formation of crystals and struvite stones.

The diet covers the daily nutritional requirement of an adult dog who requires the introduction of diet therapy for lower urinary tract problems and struvite urolithiasis. Daily doses, presented in the table on the package, depend on the current body weight, health and condition of the animal and its motor activity. Depending on the current needs of the dog, they may change. The daily dose should be divided into 2-4 meals, given at regular intervals. In the case of prevention of struvite urolithiasis, it is recommended to introduce a smaller amount, but more often given portions of food, which positively affects the acidification of urine. All changes related to the diet (diet selection, dosage, frequency of meals) should always be consulted with a veterinarian.

  • For the prevention of struvite urolithiasis, the maximum duration of the diet is: 6 months
  • when using the Urinary diet, additional urine acidifying substances are contraindicated
  • During the diet, it is recommended to perform regular check-ups in consultation with a veterinarian
  • Food should be given at room temperature. After opening, the can should be stored in the refrigerator
  • the animal must have constant access to fresh water
